The Beach & Country Guild is a hard-working group consisting entirely of volunteers who actively plan the event throughout the year. Their hands-on approach includes generating donations from local companies to underwrite event costs, procuring auction donations from local companies, preparing and serving the luncheon, and all clean-up, which maximizes the amount that is ultimately donated to United Cerebral Palsy (UCP).

Due to a unique clause in the by-laws of the Beach & Country Guild, 100% of the money raised at Dia del Sol stays in San Diego County to support the programs and services provided by the two UCP centers in San Diego and Escondido pursuant to UCP’s mission to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people affected by cerebral palsy and other disabilities.
